NEW Consignor:

  1. You will need to create a new consignor account by entering your name, address, phone number, email address, and password. Read your consignor agreement and sign on when you register; once you select to enter, you will receive a Consignor Number.

Returning Consignors:

  1. You can register for the current seasonal sale using the consignor number you received from the past sale and your password on the website's Return Consignor link.

All Consignors need to Read and Electronically Sign the consignor agreement to participate in the sale.

A hard copy of the consignor agreement will need to be signed during inventory drop-off; doing so will activate the tags on your inventory. You can print a copy for yourself for your records.

I'm Registered. Now What?

Once registered, the following steps can be done through the Registered Consignor Homepage on the website.

  1. April: Spring Sale is for SPRING/SUMMER Clothing ONLY!
  2. September: Fall Sale is for Fall and Winter clothing.
  3. Please read our guidelines for what we will accept and how to prepare your inventory for sale on the website www.saleforkids.com.
  4. Supplies NEEDED to enter inventory and Consign can be found here
  5. What is Accepted and Not Accepted at the Sale?
  6. Wash, and organize your items. The inventory limit is set to 150 items per consignor number.
  7. How to prepare your items, see the Information; the better you prepare and price your items, the higher your check will be. Check your article in a brightly lit room for broken zippers, missing buttons, stains, and tears.
  8. Suggestions on pricing your items can be found HERE.
  9. Enter your items into our online inventory system and create tags. We are working through The Consignor HOMEPAGE with an inventory program. We do not accept handwritten tags or tags from other consignment sales; our tags are unique, so only our tags will be allowed. The better your description, the more likely we'll be able to match it in the system if a tag is lost. Include Information such as brand names, colors, and styles to help sell your items!
  10. Print your tags. Please use WHITE CARDSTOCK to print all of your tags. It is available at Walmart, Astrobrights Bright White Cardstock, 8.5" x 11", 65 lb., 80 Sheets, $5.97. Prices may differ in your area. Tags print 6 to a page.
  11. Tagging Your Items: Place all clothing that has been washed and pressed on hangers with the hook facing left, like a question mark. Use safety pins or tagging gun to secure the tag to the inside label of the garment. If there is no inside label, attach the tag with safety pins or a tagging gun in a seam. Do not zip-tie the clothing to the hanger. Try not to cause any damage to the clothing with the safety pin; pinning it to a seam should help deter potential damage.
  12. If selling a 2-piece outfit, hang items on two separate hangers. Then attach the two hangers using tape or zip ties. Only create one tag for the 2-piece outfit.
  13. For small jewelry – you may stick earrings directly through the pricing tag and secure them with a piece of tape on the back. For necklaces, attach the tag with string or curly ribbon and place it in a small ziplock bag.
  14. Purses/Bags can be stuffed with paper or bags so that they will display nicely. Attach tags to the outside handle of the Purses/Bags. Purses and Bags will be attached to a rack with zip ties.
