Pricing Guidelines
General Pricing Guidelines
- $2 minimum on all items, price in whole dollar increments only
- Set prices fair and reasonable.
- This is a consignment sale, not a garage sale. Do not drastically underprice an item to eliminate it; the goal is to make as much profit as possible!
- Items may be discounted half-price Sunday, the last day of the sale
- We sell over 80% of our item's total price *As a general rule, price the item 1/4 to 1/3 (up to ½) of the original sale price.
These are just guidelines. You choose your price. What would you pay for it?

- Newborn to Size 2T clothing (these are abundant and will sell better when priced competitively.
- Books
- Bigger kid's clothes that are off-brand
30-35% of the original price.
- Kid's clothing sizes over 2T
- Most toys
35% - 75% of the original price.
- Brand new items WITH TAGS ON
- Trendy toys – Little Tikes, Thomas, etc.
- Outside Toys, Houses, Play Structures, Bike, Power Wheels
- Nursery Items
25-45% of the original price.
- Baby equipment-If like the new and current design
- Furniture
- Toys
- Books\
35 - 50 % depending on condition. of the play set
- Large Plastic Outside Toys:(little tykes, Step 2)
Suggested Pricing:
Carter's $2 to $4
Target and Kohl's Brands $2 to $4
Children's Place/Gap/Dept. Store $3 to $6
Gymboree/Better Brands $4 to $10
Maternity $2 to $8
Book $2 - $10
Movies- DVDs/BLU RAY, $2-$8
Cribs- $40 and up.
Toddler and twin beds are $20 and up.
Do not price cribs and furniture pieces together; price each item individually*
Consider condition and popularity when pricing.
PRO TIP: Big-ticket items tend to sell better if you print out a description from online stores to show how much it cost new
If donating items or not picking up unsold items, mark tags for DISCOUNT!
Get as much as you can before donating!
