- Westmoreland Sale for Kids # 1 GOAL IS THE SAFETY of our children.
It is the CONSIGNOR’S RESPONSIBILITY to check for any recalls before the consignment sale and ensures that their items meet all safety requirements.
- Please use the following resources to check your items before bringing them to the sale.
- If YOU would question an item, DO NOT Bring It!
- Recalls: Please check if your items have been recalled. It is the consignor’s responsibility for their items on consignment until the item is scanned and sold.
- Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Searchable Recall List
- Westmoreland Sale for Kids reserves the right to refuse any questionable item.
- Westmoreland Sale for Kids is not responsible for missing, lost, stolen, or broken items.
- Westmoreland Sale for Kids is not responsible for any item sold at the consignment sales safety.
Bedding Law Requirements
Bedding Law Requirements
So that the organizers of Westmoreland Sale for Kids LLC and its Consignors comply with the
PA Department of Labor and Industry Bedding and Upholstery Law Act No. 249.
We must Sterilize and sanitize any item that has enclosed filling.

There will be a set location at drop off where we will perform this process.
The spray that will be used is Steri- Fab, as required by the law.
The spray is a non-irritating and non-staining water-based formula.
The sale organizers will handle the sanitizing of all consigned items.
